HOLTEK New BS86D20CA High Noise Immunity A/D Touch MCU
Holtek is delighted to announce the release of a new generation Enhanced Touch A/D Flash MCU, the BS86D20CA. This new device has the excellent noise immunity feature of the previous BS86D20C device and also maintains full pin-compatibility with it. The device also provides a higher range of system resources in addition to a large current LED driver circuit which can drive white LEDs. These additional system resources include an extended EEPROM Data Memory capacity of 512 bytes, high speed UART interface and an In-Application Programming function which provides the ability to implement easy program upgrades. These features combine to ensure the device is suitable for use in applications which require multiple touch key functions and LED display and temperature detection functions. Applicable products could be air fryers, high speed blenders, electric pressure cookers, electric pots, heater tables and other related products.
This new device provides 20 touch keys all of which have passed the conductive susceptibility dynamic 10V test. The device has an operating voltage of 1.8V~5.5V, a 8K×16 Flash Program Memory, a 768×8 Data Memory, three Timer Modules, an A/D converter with a ±1% high accuracy reference voltage and an external LXT oscillator as well as SPI and I²C communication interfaces. The device is suitable for use as a master MCU, which when used together with a suitable power board, can implement product applications. Holtek also fully supports the device with a comprehensive suite of hardware and software development tools as well as a touch key function library which enables designers to develop their products more rapidly. The device is supplied in 24-pin SSOP and 28-pin SOP/SSOP package types.
