New Optical Mouse Controller Product Release --- HT82M23A/HT82M23B/HT82M23C

Holtek Semiconductor takes pleasure in announcing the release of three new generation 3D 3/5 key PS/2+USB Avago sensor optical mouse controller devices, namely the HT82M23A/HT82M23B/HT82M23C. The devices have been specifically designed to work in conjunction with the ADNS2051, ADNS2620 and ADNS261 Agilent Sensors, and supports both 3 and 5 key functions, 800 or 400 dpi and divide by 4 or 2 Z-axis functions. Different part numbers represent different functions with the HT82M23A providing a USB+PS/2 interface with 3D 5-key functions. The HT82M23B also provides a USB+PS/2 interface but has a 3D 3-key function, while the HT82M23C provides a USB interface with a 3D 3-key function.

The HT82M23A/HT82M23B/HT82M23C devices are used for 3D 3/5-key PS/2+USB optical mouse controllers for Avago sensor types. The sensors used are the Agilent ADNS2051, ADNS-2620 and ADNS-2610 types. In this way product manufacturers can provide for product diversification. By utilising different packages, different interfaces and push button functions can be selected to meet the demands of a wide range of customer applications.

At the present time the HT82M23A/HT82M23B/HT82M23C have already met with the approval of the USB-IF association's compatibility testing, giving users confidence in their compatibility performance. Related testing reports have already been placed on the Holtek website for consultation.
