New Holtek 3D Optical Mouse Devices -- HT82M35A/35A-1, HT82M25A/25A-1

Complementing yet further Holtek’s already comprehensive range of Mouse Controller devices, the newly released HT82M35A, HT82M35A-1, HT82M25A and HT82M25A-1 now offer designers a new generation of devices with which to implement their optical mouse controller applications. Two of the devices, the HT82M35A and HT82M35A-1, offer solutions for 3D 3/5 Key PS/2 Optical Mouse Controllers. These two new devices are specifically developed for PS/2 applications and interface to the AVAGO new generation A5020 sensor. The devices also support both 3 and 5 key functions, both 500 and 1000 DPI modes as well as divide by 2 and 4 Z-axis functions etc.
The HT82M35A and HT82M35A-1 devices are supplied in 16-pin DIP (A, B, C and D type) package types, and subdivide according to their 500 or 100 DPI and divide by 2 or 4 Z-axis functional requirements, providing users with a functionally complete and reduced cost set of solutions. The other two devices, the HT82M25A and HT82M25A-1, are designed for USB mouse controller applications and also interface to the AVAGO A5020 sensor. Supplied in both 18 and 20 pin DIP package types, the choice of package determines a choice of either a 3-key/5-key USB+PS/2 combination mouse controller or a 3key USB only mouse controller type selection.
The application circuit can produce either a 500 or 1000 DPI and 2 or 4 Z-axis type mouse controller implementation.
By further increasing the choice of devices within its optical mouse controller range, Holtek has ensured that users have a full set of products to meet the demands of most optical mouse controller applications.
